Kaleidoscope Players @ Boulton Lane Community Centre and Heat Studios
Kaleidoscope Players is a community amateur dramatics group based in Derby, with members from across the city and beyond.
We've been delighting audiences for over 20 years with our energetic performances of musicals, concerts and award-winning pantomimes. Our members and shows have won several much-coveted Eagle Awards, and we are proud to be continuing our legacy in the Derby amateur dramatics community.
We rehearse on Monday evenings at Boulton Lane Community Centre and Sunday afternoons at Heat Studios, Derby.

The Derby City Youth Theatre class is held weekly on a Saturday morning at the St Marys Church Hall for children ranging from 12- 18 years old.
Through structured hour-long lesson plans, Drama Kids helps children to improve confidence, develop language skills, and build self-esteem, all whilst having lots of fun and making new friends.
The terms fees are calculated based on £10.50 per weekly session.

Derby Phoenix Swimming Club is a competitive organisation which aims to train young swimmers of all abilities to attain a high standard of competitive achievement, and at the same time enjoy themselves. Throughout the year the Club competes in a regular programme of team galas, both locally and across the Midlands region. The Club also competes each year in the Derbyshire County Championships. Derby Phoenix encourages any swimmer who meets the required standard to take up the opportunity to train with and swim for Derventio Excel, Derbyshire’s elite squad.

PaddlePower is open to youngsters from eight years until their eighteenth birthday. Our outdoor sessions run from April until October and our indoor sessions from November until March. Our sessions are typically Wednesday evenings, 18:00 until sunset, or weekend mornings in April and October. Sessions are in school term time only.
All youth activities will require pre-booking, and an annual consent form prior to the first session or the start of the outdoor season. You are welcome to attend up to 3 taster sessions at £11 each on a "pay as you go" basis before deciding if you want to become a regular member. After this, all participants must become members of MCC (Youth or Family).

Junior Fencing Sessions (8-13)
Foiled Again @ Allestree Woodlands School, Blenheim Drive, Allestree, Derby, DE22 2LW
Foiled Again welcomes both beginners and more experienced fencers, meeting on Friday nights in Allestree, Derby. We run beginner’s classes for adults and children (minimum age 8), as well as sessions where more experienced fencers can hone their skills in foil, epee and sabre.
Once your child has completed the beginners course, they are welcome to continue to attend the junior session but will have the opportunity to continue develop their skills, as well as learning to fence either or both of the other two weapons (epee and sabre). Many of our junior fencers eventually transition over to the adult group and fence both in competitions and with more experienced fencers in the later session.

Derbyshire Allstars Badminton Club is aligned to Special Olympics Derbyshire and provides young people with learning disabilities, the opportunity to train and compete in badminton on a regular basis.
