"Drama Incorporated” is a volunteer-run, not-for-profit amateur dramatics group, based in Allenton, Derby, United Kingdom.

We cater for Kids aged 7+, Teens aged 12-17, and Adults 18+.

Every year, the group organises an Annual Summer Show in July and a Pantomime in January, with participation open to all members. The group is friendly, supportive and inclusive, and is open to anyone from the local community.

Community youth club in Breadsall for ages 11–16 held at Fieldsway Crescent. Sessions run on Thursday and Friday evenings.

Our activities vary each session depending on ages and the young people’s interests. Some of our sessions are heavily sport based, whereas some are more youth club based. Our aim is to use sport as a tool to engage young people within the communities, but we offer more activities than just sport.

In the Juniors group, children dive deeper into the world of theatre, singing, and dance. They begin to learn more structured techniques while continuing to develop their performance skills. As they progress, they work on larger productions, giving them the chance to shine on stage in full-scale performances. This group also introduces them to performance exams, helping them build valuable skills for the future.

In the Seniors group, students take their performance skills to the next level. This is where everything comes together, from advanced acting methods to powerful vocal performances and dynamic dance routines. Seniors are heavily involved in our full-scale productions and are often preparing for auditions, exams, and even professional opportunities. These sessions are designed to refine their skills and prepare them for future careers in the arts or simply for the joy of performing at a high level.

Whether you’re a youth or senior player, beginner or experienced, looking for competitive action or merely something recreational, get involved in our supportive community-run basketball programme and enjoy all the benefits basketball has to bring.

We have a wide array of teams, ranging from our Minis programme, U14 (Boys and Girls), U16 (Boys and Girls), U18 (Conference and Premier), D4 Men’s, D2 Women’s and D1 Men’s.

The Allestree Youth Theatre class is held weekly on a Friday evening at the St Nicholas Church for children ranging from 15 - 20 years old.

Through structured hour-long lesson plans, Drama Kids helps children to improve confidence, develop language skills, and build self-esteem, all whilst having lots of fun and making new friends.

The terms fees are calculated based on £10.50 per weekly session.

Our Intermediates are growing into more confident performers, learning more advanced acting, singing, and dance techniques. They start working on more challenging material and play a bigger role in our productions. At this stage, they are encouraged to focus on individual strengths while still building on teamwork and performance confidence. This group prepares students for auditions and more advanced exams.

The Invisible Friends (TIF) is a registered UK charity (1172532) supporting & raising awareness of Hidden/Invisible Illnesses/Disabilities, particularly within our younger generation

Through the power & creativity of music, the TIF Choirs (Age range: 8 - 30-year-olds) sing at a variety of events all over the UK, to raise awareness of such conditions & to become the voice for those currently suffering in silence.

As a Charity, their goal is to continue to set up TIF Choirs in different towns & cities across the UK, to reach out to as many young people as they can & to help educate society at large surrounding acknowledging, accepting & appreciating the existence of Hidden/Invisible Illnesses/Disabilities

They also encourage the importance of inclusion & integration towards those living with an Invisible Illness/Disability, those living with a Visible Illness/Disability & indeed the non-disabled too.

Choir Rehearsals take place every Friday evening from 6:00pm - 7:30pm & are held at Oakleigh Avenue Community Room in Chaddesden, Derby.

We run several in-person youth groups every week! Supported by Children in Need, these groups are a fun, safe space for any LGBT+ person aged 13-19. Our youth groups are lead by qualified, experienced LGBT+ staff that are DBS checked, with active safeguarding procedures to protect attendees. These groups are held all across Derbyshire so get in touch to find out more!

The Choir is open to children and young people with disabilities and their siblings. Parents/Carers welcome to stay and sing too!

The Raindrops is a wonderful young person led Choir, with the group putting forward songs they would like to sing. The Choir is very relaxed; there are no auditions and all singing abilities are welcome.

The Umbrella Raindrops are now quite famous following their appearance on BBC’s Children In Need show in 2018. They sang live from Derby’s Quad Centre!

Foiled Again welcomes both beginners and more experienced fencers, meeting on Friday nights in Allestree, Derby. We run beginner’s classes for adults and children (minimum age 8), as well as sessions where more experienced fencers can hone their skills in foil, epee and sabre.

Adults (aged 13 and above) who have completed a beginners course with us or elsewhere, or who are more experienced fencers, are welcome to join the Adult Beginners for a warm up and footwork from 7.15pm..

Derby Phoenix Swimming Club is a competitive organisation which aims to train young swimmers of all abilities to attain a high standard of competitive achievement, and at the same time enjoy themselves. Throughout the year the Club competes in a regular programme of team galas, both locally and across the Midlands region. The Club also competes each year in the Derbyshire County Championships. Derby Phoenix encourages any swimmer who meets the required standard to take up the opportunity to train with and swim for Derventio Excel, Derbyshire’s elite squad.
