YA / CYPN Meeting - June 2025

Yesterday we held our June 2025 Children and Young People's Network meeting at University of Derby, Kedleston Road.
Tim presented Youth Work and Social Work Apprenticeships at University of Derby and making this accessible to employers as well as youth workers.
Lucy presented Baton of Hope Derby and Derbyshire 2025 tour, and also talked about the work she does within her role at Catharsis Creative Arts Therapy.
Charlotte, James and Ali presented Anti-Social Behaviour week and talked about some of the activities and drop-in sessions that Derby Homes are running w/c 30th June. For more information click here.
Lauren and Rosie based at Derby Theatre presented CANVAS, a 2 year project providing free Arts opportunities to young people.
Our attendees then took the opportunity to meet others in the room during a free networking break.
The next CYPN will be held in September 2025 - date and location to be confirmed.
