On Thursday 26th June, our team attended Derby County Football Club to support the marketplace area of the Derby City Inclusion Partnership Annual Conference.

Delegates heard from keynote speaker Richard Gerver about 'The Power of Story', Jo Wilkinson and Phil Smith about the newly released 'Because School Means More' podcast series , and teachers and inclusion leads from schools across the city spinning the Wheel of Inclusion and sharing their stories of best practice in making their settings inclusive.

Alongside other local groups we had a stand displaying information from our Strategic Group and Network Member organisations, and were available to talk to members of staff from schools across the city about what Derby Youth Alliance and it's members can do to support them.

The afternoon encouraged delegates to take part in a number of workshops around attendance and inclusion.

We really appreciate the opportunity to be a part of the annual conference, and look forward to attending again next year to make new connections across the city and share the work of Derby Youth Alliance.
